Roughly 95% of people can either reverse or avoid type 2 diabetes. Pre-diabetes is something that the vast majority of Americans will experience at some point in their life. Both diabetes and pre-diabetes increase chances of heart attacks, strokes, and death. The good news is that the vast majority of people, if they are willing, can prevent or reverse this disease. Find all the evidence-based science that can change your life!

Chad and Fadia share seminars on health, the Bible, and overcoming habits. They have taught in Europe, Africa, Asia, and throughout North America. They also produce documentaries and have multiple lectures series which can be found on their website: www.anchorpointfilms.com

A Free DVD “Ancient Health” will be given to those who attend all 3 sessions! (one per family)

Plant Based Potluck

Untitled.001.jpeg

Many of you remember Elmhurst SDA Church that organized International Vegan/Vegetarian Food Festival last month and then invited us for their plant-based (vegan) cooking class which all of us tremendously enjoyed!

The church is doing regular Saturday vegetarian potlucks for their member and all ChicagoVeg members are invited to join the potluck on April 28th. They will make sure to mark all their dishes vegetarian/vegan this time so it would be easier for our vegan members.

You can bring either vegetarian or vegan (always encouraged) dish to share but please mark it with an appropriate (vegan/vegetarian) label. As an added bonus please consider list your dish ingredients in case of someone has an allergy or just curious to know what's in it.

Let's come to support this great initiative, taste some yummy food, and make new like-minded friends!
